Financing
We at Melcher Orthodontics want you to have the best smile possible.
It is our mission to help you get the highest quality result at a price you can afford.
More Financial Info:
1. Complimentary Initial Exam
2. Treatment fee. Our fee includes all appliances required by the treatment plan, all scheduled orthodontic visits, one set of retainers, and follow-up retainer checks. The total cost of braces depends on the severity and complexity of your specific problem, and the length of time that will be needed. At your initial exam our Treatment Coordinator will outline all of the costs in a clear, straightforward manner.
3. Treatment length. Shorter is not always better. While a shorter treatment may sound less expensive, it may not be attainable. Our goal to provide the very best care in the most effective time possible, giving you nothing short of outstanding results.
4. No down payment is required. Patients may choose to set-up convenient monthly payments on their checking accounts or credit cards and not make a down payment. You may prefer our in-house, truly interest-free financing. We want to make it easy for you to have the best smile possible. We will work with you to create a plan that works for you and your family.
5. Low monthly payments are set up for the convenience of our patients and are not related to treatment visits. After all insurance payments and discounts are calculated and your monthly payment is determined based on which payment plan you select.
6. Payment options. We accept most major insurance plans; personal checks, most major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover), as well as our in-house, interest-free financing. Please discuss with our Treatment Coordinator if your budget requires special arrangements.
7. Special Courtesies for the following: Payments made in full at the time treatment starts and patients who have family members in active treatment or have had previous treatment with us.
8. Get the most from your Insurance. Many dental plans do not include orthodontic care, but for those that do, we work to make sure you maximize your benefits. Some insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is separate from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies vary, and due to the complex nature of insurance, we can only estimate your insurance coverage until we hear from your insurance company. We will review your insurance with you to help you determine the appropriate course of action. As a convenience, we will file your claims for you.
We understand that orthodontic treatment is a big commitment of resources. Let us help you design a plan that fits your individual needs so that a beautiful smile is possible for you.
*Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
**The treatment fee does NOT include charges for appliance breakage. There may be additional charges for lost or broken appliances or excessive bracket breakage. Charges may be assessed if treatment continues past of the length of the contract due to missed appointments, excessive breakage, poor oral hygiene, non-compliance with treatment, etc. The patient will be charged a monthly service charge equal to the amount of the patient's monthly fee, for each additional visit.
